What is true sprituality? It's not madness?
1) Spirituality Does Not Mean Madness:-
Many people wrongly believe that spirituality means becoming crazy, abnormal, or detached from reality.
This belief is completely false.
Spirituality is not mental imbalance.
It is mental clarity, awareness, and inner stability.
2. What Spirituality Is NOT
Spirituality does not mean:
Losing control over the mind
Escaping real life or responsibilities
Behaving strangely in the name of God
Rejecting society or common sense
Any form of confusion, fear, or imbalance is not spirituality.
3) What Spirituality Truly Means
True spirituality means becoming more conscious and aware.
A spiritually aligned person:
Thinks clearly and calmly
Acts with balance and discipline
Understands life more deeply
Lives with responsibility, compassion, and wisdom
Spiritual growth brings clarity, not chaos.
The Upanishads clearly state:
Supreme Reality is pure awareness.
4). Why Is Spirituality Often Mistaken as Madness?
This misunderstanding exists because:
1. A spiritual person does not blindly follow the crowd
2. Freedom from greed, fear, and ego looks strange to society
3. Mental illness is sometimes wrongly presented as spirituality
But mental disorder and spiritual awakening are not the same.
The Clear Difference
Madness is loss of awareness
Spirituality is expansion of awareness
One is confusion.
The other is clarity.
5. Conclusion
Spirituality is not about becoming abnormal.
It is about becoming fully aware, grounded, and alive.
A truly spiritual person is not lost —
they are deeply present in life.
